Born in Mountain View, California, raised in Issaquah, a small suburb of Seattle, Washington, Loy has quite the passion for the outdoors. Formerly a professional bass fisherman and guide, he displays great leadership and tenacity for achieving the best results, whether that’s long-time goals or the biggest, most colorful of fish.
Loy also loves hiking with his beautiful wife Rebeccah, spending time with his son Micah (20) and his daughter Kaillee (18) and playing golf when the Arizona heat lets up.
Before moving to Arizona, Loy obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Washington State University. He has been the Assistant General Manager at Bass Pro Shop, Area Manager at Joe’s Sports, and Store Manager at Dick’s Sporting Goods. Needless to say, Loy likes the wilderness and sports.
Loy has been a Financial Advisor at Waddell and Reed since May 2011 and is also a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. He became a Financial Advisor to help people avoid the kind of financial advice his parents received when they were retiring. He is also able to continue with his passion of customer service and love of numbers and analytics. Loy concentrates on creating comprehensive financial plans to assist people in making financial decisions throughout the course of their life, long into their legacy.
